A mystery…

Well after my little bout with AT&T tech support last night suddenly my mMode started working again this morning, hmm me thinks it may have been something on their end!

Oh joy, I get to put in a twelve hour day today, that would be Wednesday the 31st! Seems one to the inspectors on days needs to be off and they asked me to come in early to help catch everything back up. I am so nice!

It’s cold again, I’m not sure what is going on with the weather around here but it is starting to irritate the hell out of me. It’s warm for two days then cold for five more, where is the justice in that?

Lets see if that joke I just read is still on my clipboard!

Where Do You Want to Go?

The pastor was talking to a group of young children about being good and going to heaven. At the end of his talk, he asked, “Where do you want to go?”

“Heaven!” they all piped up.

“And what do you have to be to get there?”

“Dead!”

Why yes yes it is!

AT&T Wireless!

I haven’t been with them that long and already I have a complaint. I have been having trouble with my mMode, mainly I can’t access it, haven’t been able to for at least four days now. So I call tech support tonight and tell them what is happening.

Me: Well when I click the button it says service not available
Tech: have you used it before?
Me: yes several times.
Tech: well lets check the settings.
Me: ummm, okay.
Tech: well the settings are alright, does it do this in multiple areas?
Me: Well I’m not sure, I don’t travel that much and I really want to use it in my home area anyway.
Tech: Well let me check something..
Horrid hold music that keeps cutting out…
Tech: It says your phone is signed up for it!
Me: yes I know that
Tech: Well all I can tell you is to either take it to a store and have them look at it or try it ten miles from home.
Me: you mean if it works ten miles away that is what I am stuck with, driving down the road to use my mMode?
Tech: Thank you for calling is there anything more I can do for you
Me: It’s ironic that you didn’t say is there anything more I can help you with isn’t it!
Tech: thank you.

Oh yeah, I am going to love AT&T!

I’m awake?

Wow, what a restful Sunday. I fell asleep shortly after supper on the couch and didn’t wake up til late. The downside of this is that I am now wide awake, but I feel darn good!

Sometimes I am glad that weathermen have no clue what they are doing! They had predicted rain all this weekend but we haven’t had a drop yet. The closest we got was overcast this morning with some fog thrown in for good measure.

I went out to take some photo’s of the geese by my work and I think they were all hiding, I couldn’t find a darn one of them. I take that back, I did find two of them but they were in the middle of the muddy lawn across the street and my zoom isn’t that powerful.

I am not political, I absolutely abhor politics. That said, I cannot stand by and let that nutcase Kerry get into office, the man is a twit. Now I have to register to vote, which I hate doing as every time I do I get jury duty.

I guess I should get back to my churches newsletter, I got drafted into it awhile back and until I get the rhythm of it, it will be a task!

Goose invasion!

Lately our area has been over ran with geese. There are several living and nesting by my workplace. Just the other evening as I was leaving work I was held captive and intimidated by 2 of said geese. One was in the road directly in front of me while the other stood by my car door hissing. Had I given my car door a sufficiently hard swing I could have had goose for lunch the next day, thats how close she was. I say she because she was a nesting female. She has built her home and had eggs in the front yard of my workplace.
I had meant to take some photos of them today but the darn rain was coming down too hard and I don’t have a raincoat for my camera. I am sure they will be there for awhile so I will get some later. I will try and get close, in the car, and get some shots of her hissing at me.

Today really sucked a lot so I am going to go to bed now and hope that I can forget the entire day ever happened.
