What do you do when your rested?
You work your ass off, what else? They let me sleep till 3pm today and I was feeling good so I decided that isn’t right and mowed the lawn so I could be tired again!
Wasted youth?
I was reading through some of my past entries and something occurred to me. I complain a lot and never really talk much about my past. From this I would gather that most people probably figure me to be a whiner and have no real idea who the man behind the complaints really is.
Quite honestly I think my childhood was pretty average except for a few events that are just a bit too much to put here. Instead I will dredge up some memories of the more unique things I did. The first was when I was about 4 or 5 years old. I had and still have a fascination with nature and can sit and watch the wind in the trees and be quite content. One Saturday morning I decided to watch the world go by and opened the front door to our little house and stood there watching the world go about it’s daily activities. I was pressed up against the screen door and pulled the front door closed behind me. I realized then that the space between the doors while large enough to fit in, was not large enough to move in. I was pinned between the doors and couldn’t raise my arms to open the doors. I stayed there for a good 5 minutes trying to use my 5 years of knowledge to figure a way out of this mess. The solution was simple really, scream and cry till mommy woke up and came and found me.
The next thing isn’t really amusing but it is one of the things that reminds me of how much I love my mother and why. Again this was around the age of 5 and in the same house that the screen door incident happened. I had caught an extremely vicious case of the flu and was layed up in bed for a few days. At one point I couldn’t eat or drink anything at all or it would return rather quickly. My mother stayed up all night one particularly bad night when the fever was getting out of hand and wiped my forehead with a cool rag to keep me comfortable. I remember the touch of her hands on my face and the cool feel of the washcloth as it brushed across my skin. At one point the cloth strayed too close to my mouth and when I felt the wetness against my tongue I started sucking on it. She and I discovered that I could take very small amounts of water from the rag and hold them down. That is how she spent her night. Alternately wiping my forehead and dripping a few drops of water into my mouth.
Does anybody really know what time it is?
Well in the land of strange things that happen only to me, my computer is now a victim. For some reason it has taken to losing time. It does this at odd intervals and never the same amount. Sometimes it loses 30mins sometimes 45. It’s driving me nuts. I usually know how to fix things on my computer but not this. Does anyone have any idea what this might be I am at a loss?
Don’t panic
Those were the words written on the cover!
I think I need to read the Hitchhikers Guide again.
Where the hell is everyone?
Hi ho hi ho
Yeah, I’m at work again.
Angela is sick, nothing real bad just a lot of sneezing and coughing. I still feel sorry for her as she looks miserable.
They Upped my medications the other day and for some reason I am having the side effects all over again. They really are annoying, especially the dry mouth.
My weekend was short, considering I left work on saturday morning and came back sunday evening that is to be expected I guess. I can tell you right now I am not into it tonight. I don’t want to be here I would rather be sleeping right now.
Oh yeah, Angela sang in church today and it was adorable. I took some photos and will try and post some monday when I get up.
Alright, I am going to go to work now. Maybe if I stay busy the night will go faster, I doubt it but it’s worth a try.
