More about the house

We had our preconstruction meeting with the contractor today. It was at 10:30am which gave me about an hour of sleep before hand. Big PSA for you, do not just get one hour of sleep before a meeting where you are expected to pay attention.

He taught us all about imperfections that we might notice that are perfectly natural. Quite honestly, I would never have noticed them as imperfections had he not told me what they were. Now every time I go to someones house I’m going to see them in a whole new light.

It’s back to being exciting again as we don’t have any more choices we have to make for the moment. We are scheduled to start framing in mid-April, there will be photos. I kind of feel sorry for these guys. I told them I am a photographer and love taking photos. I don’t think they have any idea just how many shots of them working I will be taking!

Alrighty then, I need to get back to bed!

Spooky?

I was using the restroom at work when I noticed that I wasn’t alone. There were two others in the restroom but they seemed to be intent on each other. I snapped a photo so you could see them for yourself. (don’t worry, I’m not in it and I was clothed when I shot it.)

Pardon our mess

Over the next few days I will be working on the presentation of the blog. The first thing that changed was the blogroll. I have the random 10 blogroll then if you want to see them all you can click the see whole blogroll link under the pages header!
I felt the need to do this as blogrolling is so unpredictable and makes the page load slowly some days. The random 10 list doesn’t rely on them but on me remembering to add your link twice!

Found a new doctor!

Found a new doctor Saturday. I like her, she actually listens to what I am saying, a big plus over the last one!

My home is becoming a madhouse, it is like estrogen hell here. Considering I have no one here I feel comfortable to go visit it is pretty much all women all day for me, thank God for work!

Back to the new doc. She has me on a new medication as well as a couple that I have already tried. The new one is supposed to be pretty good and the others are to counter-act the side effects on the new one. I am well on my way to having my very own pharmacy.

I took an official day off from worry Saturday. I decided that I wasn’t going to let anything get to me. Don’t bother trying this, it doesn’t work. As long as their are newspapers and other people around you will always have something to worry you or annoy you!

Easter was alright, but also it is a post in and of itself so I will work on that one later today!
