As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. (Ephesians 4:1-3)

That doesn’t sound very hard to do and what a wonderful way to be. I of course have a lot of work to do in this area. I am about as gentle as a grizzly bear sometimes.

YABB (yet another bad blogger)

I have been a bad blogger again, well not really I guess. I think it’s more like nothing interesting has happened to me. Desi has pneumonia, I have really bad bronchitis, we both get to miss out on the weekend festivities. I am getting a complex about memorial day weekend. Something always goes wrong and spoils it for me, bleh.

Anyway we did the walk through on the house yesterday and I think it was fairly painless. We were done in about and hour and a half. When you walk in there now it looks like a polka dot factory. It was fascinating and I think the contractor was even more picky than I was. He was a dot machine sticking them everywhere. I have some pics and I will try to post them up later today. Right now I am still a bit dizzy from that darn nebulizer.

I fought the law and the law drove me nuts

And yet again I sat at the courthouse, early just like my lawyer told me too, then he shows up late. I have way too much money invested in this man now to fire him but he is really pushing his luck.

So anyway I show up and again she doesn’t, it seems that even though I gave them the address where she lives they were still unable to serve her. By the way, why is it my responsibility to know where she is at and how they can get ahold of her? At any rate, they still screwed that up.

We’re doing it a little different this time. I am getting two copies of the summons for the new date and I am going to serve her myself. Then I get to come back to the prosecutor and sign an affidavit stating that I did it on such and such day and time. They assured me that it would be just as good as if the sheriff had done it.

In other news, we have our first walk through of the house Friday. I am looking forward to pointing out all the flaws I have found over the last several days. I am pretty sure they will not like me much anymore after this! They will have to get over it though. I am paying a fortune for this place and I want it to be as close to perfect as possible before I get in there and screw it all up!

By the way, I added a new photo to the gallery. There are plenty more coming. And yes Mark it is a flower, I just can’t help myself!

Four on the floor

Alright thats a lie, one is on the floor and the rest are just stuff. I had a request for some inside pics so I got a few. They are busting it right now since we have the walk through this friday. These pics show the kitchen with it’s flooring installed, but still dirty. Also have one of the garage, the game room, and the entryway, which is also the exit! I am iron man!

Alright so I’m not really iron man, nor could I be in an iron man competition. I would probably have a heart attack in the first few minutes! I should have another book to review here in a few days. I really enjoy this. I get free books and I get to tell people about them, what more could I ask for?

They should be working on the floors today at the house. I can’t remember if it is linoleum today and carpet tomorrow, or vice versa. I guess I will find out soon enough. As soon as they get the floors done I will take some inside shots and post them up. Closing day gets closer and closer, the day when it is put up or shut up.

Second shot at the custody hearing is this thursday. If you pray that would be a good day to pray for me. If you don’t pray, that would be a god day to start!
