I don’t know if any of you might be using weather bug or not. If you are I have found a far superior program. I highly recommend :

I just want to say that I should not be awake. I have tried everything in order to beat this. I think it has something to do with the pain. Which also refuses to go away! I even took two of the Vicodin in the hopes that it would put me out, but no, no luck there either. I absolutely do not subscribe to my wife’s train of thought. She seems to think it may have something to do with all the Mountain Dew I have been drinking. All I have to say to that is pish posh. We get to change my wrap on my knee today. Right now it has a half ton of gauze on it. We will be able to drop that down to a few 4×4′s. I have been having odd dreams tonight, which is another reason that I am awake at the moment. The last one has me working with an old co-worker, whom I haven’t seen in years, while dealing with current problems, and then some. Alright, gonna lie down now and see what I dream about next! I am still testing out Live Writer and I must say, this may be the most useful piece of software I have gotten from Microsoft in a long time. Of course that makes me worry that when it leaves beta I will have to pay a fortune for it. I will try not to dwell on that and just keep having fun with it. I am still trying to figure out some of the formatting options. A carriage return seems to do more than I would expect and it seems to have invisible tables. I am very happy to report though that there is no code bloat like one would expect. I have checked out a post afterwards and found it to be reasonable. Not at all like FrontPage or Word would do! It is super simple to insert an image in a post but I have yet, until now, actually published one to see how it handles it. There are several options when inserting an image. It will thumbnail the image for you and create a link to the original. It lets you decide where the image will line up and even has some basic image editing abilities! (A little update here. It uploads the image all by its little self and everything went off without a hitch!) And with that I shall leave you for now and tell you more later today! I am trying out windows live writer. It is an interesting concept that I will talk more about later. Right now I am fighting with some major pain! Live Writer is a WYSIWYG blogging tool. Similar to using Word to type up a post. The major difference being that I can see what it is going to look like and then some. Most WYSIWYG’s leave out one major thing. It doesn’t look anything like it will on your blog. Live Writer fixes that. It actually downloads your templates and css so it knows exactly how everything will look. This makes it much easier to tweak everything before you publish. Right now I am testing to see where it fails. Everything fails eventually, I will find this ones fault too! Yes I made it through the surgery alright, sorry to those who were hoping otherwise. I have been vegging on the couch for awhile now and I just remembered something! I HATE SITTING AROUND! I get bored to easily. I have a hard time sitting up as I need to keep my leg elevated at the moment. I have to do that for 48 hours, yeah whatever! Anyway, I can’t seem to fall asleep at the moment so I am tinkering around with the blog a bit. Yes it sent out a message earlier about a post that is no longer there. Sorry about that, it was a failed experiment. I could really go for a smoke right now. That nicotine would really hit the spot. I am going to tinker a bit more then attempt to sleep again! Sitting here, trying not to freak out or have a nervous breakdown. I am hungry, I am thirsty. I am not allowed to have anything because I am having surgery in 3 hours. I think they do that to torture you some. I mean they don’t get to keep you awake and aware during the surgery and they have to get their fun somehow. Not really looking forward to this at all. I know that if all goes well the end result is well worth it. But the part that bothers me is the “IF” all goes well! I imagine since I am going to be off work for a few weeks that I should be able to get some quality time with some of my favorite bloggers. One comment  - (Comments are closed)Doing a lot of soul searching and praying right now. Partly because I have surgery on Monday and partly because it is just something I do occasionally! The pictures are still in the last post you just need to click the link to see them now. I already have horrible load times on this site I don’t want to compound it by having pictures all over the place! Becky had pneumonia so I am going to be taking care of her over the next few days and in return she will have to deal with me come Monday, that is unless she is not feeling better. I can see a problem coming up if she is not. I could reschedule the surgery I guess but then who knows when I will get in again and I am really not keen on being in pain anymore either!
