This just in:
Had my appointment with the orthopedist today. It went as well as expected. He talked I listened. I got tired of hearing him talk so I started talking. After he listened to what I had to say, including the increase in pain and the whole knee buckling on me thing, he talked more.
Yes I am having surgery on my knee. I am scheduled for the 25th of this month. I will be accepting any and all prayers, good thoughts, and good vibrations.
I will then be off work for about 2 weeks. I have mixed feelings about this. I mean yay, I don’t have to go to work but I also can’t stand sitting around the house all day either. I can see the insanity creeping in already!

Jeff, DARN IT but if it will help, then I guess it’s a good thing. You can count on me for good thoughts, vibrations and prayers. And I will do what I can to help ward off the insanity. I think the break will do you good, actually. I can give you homework if you’d like… The 25th isn’t that far off. You’ll be good as new in no time. “How can that be?” you’re thinking. I know you pretty well, don’t I???
