MyBlogLog

I found the coolest thing while surfing blogs last night. I was reading Genuines blog when I saw something called MyBlogLog in his sidebar. It had pictures(or avatars) of other MyBlogLog members who had recently visited. What a cool idea, an easy way to get an idea of who is coming to your site. Of course it only helps if your visitors are members but it’s a start!

So, yeah if you look to the far right under the random shot you will see that I joined and put their widget up on my site. It seems like it could be a really good community builder plus it has already turned me on some cool blogs that I hadn’t seen before.

If your not a member you might look into it as it is pretty darn cool. If you are a member then why aren’t you showing up in the list? ;)

    I’m looking to the far right and looking for the random shot and I’m not seeing anything…
    What’s a widget?

    And it seems I lost my grape.

    The far right only applies if you are on the home page and not a post page, and your grape is there I just can’t get the ajax to show it right away, yet!

  4. Linda says:

    Oh oh oh, I see. What’s an ajax? You getting pissed at me yet? ;-)

    Thanks for stopping by and for the link. This new MyBlogLog thing is going to be a cool widget. Since Yahoo just bought MyBlogLog, I see they will be putting some money into the project to make it even more cool for users. It’s so cool, I get to find your blog!

    Is it just my imagination or are these widgets or whatever you call them, messed up? Your pic is in one of my squares and Genuine (Hi Dude, I’m JuJu’s Mom) is in the other…

    @Linda

    It seems to be a problem with the way Internet Explorer is dealing with the style sheet. I will have to look into that. Thanks for pointing that out to me! :)
