4 sale, brain, hardly used
For the second time in a row we have made the bus driver wait! I wonder how many times she will actually re-stop and open her doors for the girls before she just keeps right on going with a big smile on her face.
I had just gotten Anna’s boots on when I heard the bus pull up outside. I yelled bus and everyone sprung into action, the wrong actions! Anna decided that now would be a good time to clean her mess off the table and Desi suddenly remembered she hadn’t packed a snack for after school.
How do you other parents keep from killing them sometimes? Do they stay up late at night and plot these things after we go to bed? Maybe the use their psychic powers to communicate with each other while I am standing there in awe of their ability to act like I didn’t just scream BUS!

Poor Jeff… I sooo feel for you. I remember calling JuJu to wake up like 20 times every morning for school. I would imagine that she was up and getting ready only to realize she was still sound asleep… Couldn’t wait for graduation.
Anna is so hard to wake up that I try getting out of the morning ritual. I desperately try to get my wife to do it. Unfortunately she usually has to go to work before they get up!
Someone once told me that I should have relied on Ju to wake herself up and face the consequences of not doing it (being late, reprimanded at school, etc.) until she learned her own lesson. I wasn’t that strong….
Although it’s no longer an issue, had I done that, it would have saved a few gray hairs for me. She’s very responsible now, so I guess it’s a moot point. But you may want to consider that…
