A man of substance!

I wanted to just make a post of me screaming but I decided it probably wouldn’t be appropriate or appreciated!

I am really getting burnt out at work and I have no idea how to tell them that I am on the verge of going somewhere else to work. It is just a day in and day out drag to be there, more so than it should be. I know that no job is perfect but there has to be a better one than this one. I know it is getting bad because I can be in the greatest mood and as soon as I realize it is time to go to work I am depressed and ready to go back to bed. That is definitely not the way you should feel before going to work!

I am trying to get some pictures of the fountain. The problem lies in the fact that we can’t decide where to put the darn thing! I mean we have a general idea but we just can’t seem to solidify our thoughts on it. Becky is interested in aesthetics and I am interested in getting it somewhere where it won’t be a pain to wire up! That reminds me I need to go get another extension cord for it, she can’t use my bright orange 100 footer, it’s mine and I won’t give it up!

Uh oh, what does it mean if we both feel like screaming? Is there something going around?
I feel exactly about my job as you do, it seems. If I had some decent cash to fall back on and could find something with similar benefits, it would take a lot to keep me from walking out of there. Lately has been especially trying. Silly rules and regulations, unreasonable expectations, I could go on and on. But I won’t, it’s too depressing. I think Cas has the best idea.

Depressing is my middle name. I really need a vacation, a real, honest to God vacation. Preferably on the banks of a river somewhere with a fishing pole and some liquid refreshment. No I’m not real big on fishing but it is the most mindless activity I could think of to do!

  3. Linda says:

Here’s a mindless activity for you… come and do my job for a week. Please make it this coming week so I don’t have to work the 4 10-hour days. I’ll owe you for life.
Maybe we should start praying to hit the lottery after all…

I don’t even want to do my job, what makes you think I would want yours? :)
On the bright side, at least it’s the weekend!

Maybe it’s time to move on to another job. Although I find new jobs quite stressful.

I’m looking forward to seeing the fountain picture(s).

Amigo, hope you’re having a good weekend. Next weekend is a long one… Yipppeeeeee!

I am still looking forward to that myself! I have been trying to get all my yard work done that went on the back burner when I had the plantar thing. Now I just need to take a few pics of it.

I am so looking forward to the long weekend, although I am sure my boss will screw it up somehow!
