What I did on my…

Today is day one of my two day suspension from work. It is due to my attendance, being sick a lot has made me miss a few days here and there. I’m not bitter, I am making the best of it and getting some things done around the house that I would normally put off until the end of time.

Oh and today is election day, I almost forgot. I should probably go vote so I can complain about the numbskull’s who got elected later. I am of the belief that if you don’t go and vote you have no right to complain about who gets elected. It’s not hard to do and usually only takes a few minutes to do. Unless of course everyone else decides that the perfect time to go to the polls is the same time you decide to go.

No eye has seen,
no ear has heard,
and no mind has imagined
the things that God has prepared
for those who love Him
1 Corinthians 2:9

so to “punish” you for missing too many days they give you more days off… gotta love it!

Yeah, kind of ironic isn’t it?

Hope you’re enjoying your time off and/or making good use of the free time. I could really get into a 2-day suspension right about now… Get this, as if working with 98% women isn’t torturous enough- we had snow flurries today. The most miniscule flurries you can imagine. Well, Holy Blizzard, Batman! You would have thought these people never saw snow before. And excuse me, but the last time I looked, we are all still in Western PA. They buzzed about it non-stop all afternoon. Made me cranky. I need a vacation. But you know what made me feel better? This beautiful Bible verse. I’ve never heard it before and I love it. Such promising, hopeful words! Thanks :-)
