Not sure what to do!
I have to go back to work today, coming back from my suspension. I’m not sure how to go about this though. Should I go in looking humbled and ready to conform? Should I look like a dog that has been kicked? I know it was a punishment so I guess I should look like I have been punished.
There’s just one problem though. I had a darn good time! I got to spend more time with my family. I was able to make things easier on my wife by cooking supper for everyone. See I really want to be on day shift. That is one of the main reasons I started my job hunt in the first place. All the stuff that annoys me doesn’t hurt but I know that will be a factor no matter where I go.
Alright, now I need to go practice my sad face. I need to get this grin off my face before I get there!

Hmmm… I much prefer the night shift to day shift. But I worked 10pm to 6am. Are you talking, like, 4-12?
It’s too late to tell you this now, but I would wear my regular face. “Don’t ever let them think they got to you” is my motto.
