I will keep this short and sweet. I could post more flood photos but there seems to be no end of those on all the news sites, like this one The Indy Channel. But what everyone seems to be missing is a scene that is playing out all over the area.

This is heartbreaking, seeing these people have to empty their homes of their belongings. Their hopes Buy and dreams gone. I have more shots but out of respect for these families I will keep it to this one. It is all really the same, just different dreams lying by the side of the road.

Isn’t it something the way the media tends to go for the sensationalist POV and forgets about the human side of things? My heart goes out to these people.
It’s hard to see something like this since it happens on such a large scale. It’s one thing to watch a single family go through something like a fire, but watching entire communities go through this makes it seem overwhelming. Where do you even begin to help?
