I don’t know, it’s just a big green thing in downtown Indy, and now here it is on my blog as well!

I really liked the look of this brick wall and the sprinkler feed just made the shot. There is a little Photoshop tweaking. Mostly levels and sharpness.
I actually got out of the house!
I took part in Scott Kelby’s worldwide photowalk Saturday and I had a blast. This is one of my favorite shots!

Hello, my name is Jeff, and I can’t throw anything away!
Have I mentioned my bad habit of collecting things? It wouldn’t be such a bad thing but sometimes it ends up just being junk. Such is not the case with this toy. My mom got this for me quite awhile back, I believe at a yard sale. At any rate, it is one of my favorites on my shelves.
I was going to talk about him more but lets see if anyone can guess what it is and where it comes from!
Might as well make myself useful.
Since I have been on medical leave I have had a lot of time on my hands. When I am not feeling ill I have been doing something that I used to love, cooking! I have worked in several restaurants over the years and have always loved to cook. Sometimes I like to experiment or just make new(to me) things.
I have always loved Baklava but had never made it before, so I had to try. It came out pretty well but I must say it is a bit of a pain to make. When they say to put a damp cloth over the dough you better believe it. At first I didn’t, but I only lost a couple sheets of the very thin dough.
Did everyone like it?
The adults did.
Was it easy to make?
Yes and no.
Will I ever make it again?
Probably not!
Did I take a picture of it?
Yes and here is a single serving of it.
