One little, two little, three little indians.

Give up, you will never figure out the tie in with that post title.

I have been absent for a few days now with good reason. First, Becky was on vacation all week, it was great to spend some time with here, we don’t get to do a lot of that when she is working. We saw the movie Four Christmases on Wednesday, very funny movie, although Vaughn’s character seemed a little effeminate. So then Thursday Anna got sick and had to go to the doctor, of course you know that whenever someone in this house gets sick I am not far behind! I started out with the same symptoms Anna had, but mine went south pretty quick. Desiree got sick Friday and had to come home early from school. Poor Becky ended up with a house full of sick people over the weekend. I need to make that up to her somehow!

On a completely different note I have a proposal for all medical practitioners. From now on when you tell someone they need surgery, you can’t tell them until you can schedule it within two days. Giving me all this time to think about it is not doing much for my nerves. All I do is sit around and worry about “what ifs” and it is taking a toll on me. If I make it to the 26th without having a heart attack from fear I will be glad when it is all over and I can get some semblance of a life back.

Well, I guess that is all I really have right now. I need to go worry myself into a tizzy again by reading about surgery mishaps!

Jeff, I feel so bad for you. But I think this is one of those things that you just have to hand up to God and trust Him to take care of things. He will take good care of you.
I agree though, that the more time you have to fret, the worse it is.
The little indians title seems apt to me… One little indian gets sick, then two… and so on and so on. It shouldn’t be that way but that’s usually how it works, huh?

Well, that was easier than I thought!

Great minds, even the demented ones, I guess, think alike?
I haven’t been able to get on here the past three times I tried, thought I better tell you, I don’t want you to think I was MIA.

I hope everyone is feeling better. What a rotten way to spend a weekend.
