Today was Anna’s 9th birthday. She is getting older and taller. I have taken to pushing down on her head daily and telling her to stop growing. I can’t believe she’s already nine. She is getting closer to the age when dad won’t be cool anymore. I dread that day, but know it is inevitable. Until then I will continue to hug her several times a day, tuck her in at night and say her bed time prayers with her.
Some day she will come upon this blog and read all the things that I have written about her over the years. When she does, I hope she sees the love packed into every word.

Happy Belated Birthday to Anna. I'm sure she'll read these one day and feel the love
I've grown to look forward to reading about her and it's obvious to me that her Daddy adores her.
I didn't realize that she's the same age as my grandson. That's pretty cool.
Have a very happy birthday Anna. 9 is good.
