I walked the park several times. Passed the old tree quite a bit too. I never really looked at it though. Other than notice it was quite old, it never really stuck out to me. Finally, I did slow down, I took a look at this majestic old tree and saw this:

It took a bit of looking for me, I am getting older and I have never been real observant. When I did see it though, the emotions that washed over me where overwhelming. My curiosity ran wild. I wanted to know who put it there? How long ago? Are they still together, still alive? I may never solve these mysteries, but with this snapshot, they will forever haunt my thoughts.

Awesome photo, Jeff. I don’t know how you got to be such a great photographer with your head up your… never mind. What I meant was, you gotta be more observant! It will show in your work!
And you gotta ask the questions, too. I see that you’re (at least) doing that.
