Went to Lowes today to pick up some storage containers when I noticed the retention pond out back was full of geese. Upon investigation I discovered that some of them were frozen into the ice. The ice is thin and the birds are mean so helping them is out of the question. They didn’t seem to bothered by the situation anyway.

You are familiar with the book/movie Fried Green Tomatoes, right? I was always amused by that story about the pond that flew away but I never thought it could actually happen!
