First good storm of the season, was I ready? Of course not! By the time it got to my area it was already getting dark. Chasing in the dark is difficult, dangerous, and dumb. Yes, I know, I did that last season but in my defence I was getting desperate for some action.
I was able to watch the storm approach from my porch, it really was a good one. I sent the family into the interior of the home when some spotters on the scanner started taking debris. Just a lot of wind but better safe than sorry.
There may be more storms Monday and Tuesday, I’m keeping my fingers crossed!
That was some storm! We had a couple of heavy rain storms pass through, but not too bad.
