As you may have gathered, considering my track record, I have not accomplished much over the last few weeks. I am finally recovering from my somewhat long winded illness. To celebrate I am going to share a photo. It’s poorly composed and the flowers were not very healthy. So what does one do in that situation? Over saturate it, tweak the contrast and hope no one notices!

It is getting warm out now and while I haven’t done any significant photography I have made quite a few grab shots with the point and shoot. Lets start with one of my favorites.

Every year I post a photo of these flowers then say I have no idea what they are named. Then someone comes along and tells me what they are and I promptly forget before the next year rolls around.

Anyway, here are the purple buggers, whatever they may be.

It has sat on the kitchen windowsill for over 3 years, that in and of itself is amazing considering neither Becky nor I can keep even an air fern alive. This thing just keeps going and going. There have been periods where we forgot to water it and it would be pretty much dried up, I would water it and in a few days it would be good as new. Seriously, I am now scared of it!
