This one has bothered me for awhile now, I have kept it to myself for too long, I have to let it out. Look at this:

It works? Who’s the genius who came up with that slogan? Worse yet, who’s the genius who approved spending money on that slogan? I mean really, I understand simplicity will help it stick but you put us at the level of morons when you stick a slogan out there like “It Works”.

Alright, I’m done now. No I am not feeling much better but I am hoping to soon!

I didn’t need a $10,000 lens, or a camera that shoots 5 frames per second. I didn’t shoot 20 frames leading up to this moment. One shot, I followed the action and anticipated the catch. I got one of my favorite sports shots so far.

Not that I think I’m great, just the opposite actually, I think I am pretty mediocre most of the time. I’m just saying to all those who want to shoot great shots, it doesn’t take tons of money. It just takes patience and knowledge of what you are shooting.

I am too excited about going to the Colts game tomorrow to post anything of great use here. I am trying to get all the things that I would normally do on a Saturday done today. I have been shirking my blogging duties and must make that up to you in some way. I could try and make some wordy diatribe about nothing in particular, but I am sure you would see through that ploy. I could talk about the books I have been reading lately but not putting into my Now Reading list. I think I will skip the much ado about nothing and go for the books.

I have been reading anything Peanuts lately. I go to the library and just start looking. Not sure why I have this sudden fixation on Charlie Brown and the gang but it has been keeping me amused.

Oh the game Sunday was awesome, the Colts beat the pants off the Seahawks. It appeared that they even started feeling sorry for the hawks and let them score at the end of the game. The Colts had actually started using substitute players just to give them some play time!

I will show you a couple pics of the suite today and maybe of the game tomorrow.

The seating is much more comfortable that the rest of the stadium, no surprise there.

I don’t have a truly wide angle lens so this was the best I could do but the suite is very nice and roomy. I really enjoyed the free food and beer!

These were taken after the game so the food and drinks were gone by the time I took them. Did I mention that they have an in chair massage available to the suites! How weird is that?

Fedex just dropped off the tickets for this Sundays Colts game. I’m not sure how and I don’t question the motives of vendors, but Becky scored two suite level tickets and VIP parking. I haven’t had a chance to try out the suites yet so this will be an experience for me. Hey they even told us that food and drink will be provided, BONUS!

This will be a nice break from working on photos and just generally feeling pretty crappy. Forget the chrones for now, I have been having almost daily headaches that range anywhere from mild to “get-the-heck-away-from-me screaming”. Sure I am still having trouble with my chrones, but the headaches are relatively new and I have not been able to get used to them at all.

I think I will go get something to eat now, maybe take a couple more Tylenol and wait for the pain to subside.

Went to see the Colts play Sunday night. I went in skeptical considering their record so far this year. They did manage to pull this one off! This was my first shot at shooting a game with my new camera. It did alright but I still need a brighter lens. Here are a few of my favorite shots from the game:

Nothing of great consequence to say. Been fairly busy for someone who is still unemployed and ill!

Computer shopping for someone else is always fun, especially when they are a non-profit so you need to keep strict budget concerns in mind. So yeah, that gave me a headache!

I haven’t been out to take any photos yet, probably won’t be all week. I did get two tickets to Sundays Colts game given to me so I can take photos there! Football is so much more fun when you are there!

Some things, no matter how good for you they are, are just inedible. Most of the organic potato chips I have had so far have been just awful, we won’t even talk about the tortilla chips. Granted there have been a few good ones, but for the most part, YUCK!

I can’t seem to find a temperature that is agreeable to everyone in this house. It is either too hot or too cold, I wish I had a zone system in my house now, hindsight!

I am going to make some banana nut bread as soon as I get off here, so off I go!

Almost forgot, I found this somewhere and loved it. I can’t remember where it came from so if someone knows let me know so I can give proper credit!

I had a really good time and that is what counts in my book. I have quite a few more shots that I may or may not post as time goes on!

Yep still alive. I went to the Colts game Sunday to watch them spank the Texans. It was a lot of fun. I had extra tickets so I took some of my co-workers with me. Our seats were in the endzone, we were one row back from the front. This did not lend itself well to photography due to the goal post, but it was still an awesome game and I did get a few shots which I will share soon enough!

Yes I jumped back to the old template again. I can’t help myself. The other one was too hard to get customized. While they touted it as fully customizable, it may be but it was darn hard to get where you wanted to be!

I am now going to go catch up on everyone and try to get my photos off the camera and at least on the computer!
