Curse or blessing?

The countdown timer to the right is telling me my time is ticking away. My surgery is Friday and I am no where near ready for this. Christmas is tomorrow and I am not really ready for it either, mostly because I have to be on that awful clear liquid diet all day while everyone around me is able to eat to their hearts content.

I should get on my preparations for Friday. Mostly I need to get things ready for when I come back home as I imagine I won’t be in the mood to clean up my desk and bedside table at that time.

Playing with fire

I can’t really explain the title of this post at the moment. Remind me later to explain it. Trying to prepare for my upcoming convalescence that and keep myself from freaking out every few minutes. I am going to be hospitalized for at least a week so entertainment will be an issue. Reading and tv will only go so far. I acquired an early Christmas present, well I can’t play with it right now since that wouldn’t be fair, but I got a PSP to keep me entertained.

Attention family members, that opens the doors right open for some cheap gifts! I only got one game with it, Silent Hill Origins, so by all means go nuts.

Back to the story, I will be fairly inactive after I get home for awhile too. Not sure how long on that but any time at all is too much to me. I am hoping to start searching for a job in the near future, that is if I don’t get my photography biz going.

Anyway, I need to get my beauty sleep so I am done for now.

Yes I am still alive, although at the moment it doesn’t feel like it. I am fighting multiple problems at the moment. A nasty cold is bringing me down and add to that the fact that my Chrones is acting up and you can see why I am not on much. Yes I am feeling miserable, no I am not letting it stop me from spending time with my family. I wish I didn’t have to go to work today, I could really use another day of rest.

Hopefully within the next few days I will start getting better and then I can post something good. I have a few photos to share and some amusing(to me at least) stories to share.

I meant to put this up the other day but I got busy and then I just plain forgot. Anyway, what I was going to say was that there is nothing funner than watching two sisters try and beat the crap out of each other with big vinyl covered foam sticks.
