I have been neglecting my blog lately, honestly, I’m trying to figure out where it fits in the Facebook, Twitter, Google+ world. Honestly, I’m not sure yet. I can say that I love my blog and will never let it go. It may be neglected while I try to prioritize everything but I won’t let it die!

So if you’ll excuse me I need to go tweet this!

Wednesday I am going to be getting some significant dental work done. I have put it off for too long. When it is all done, I will be toothless for awhile. I am sorry but I just can’t justify paying for temporary dentures, insanity! It’s alright though, the teeth I have now are not serving me very well.

Once I get this done, my gastro wants to start a new treatment plan. She was afraid to start it with so much wrong with my mouth. She claims it can cause complications, whatever. Alright, I will grant that it is an immunosuppressant, but what are the chances really?

This will be affecting my diet, not in a way I appreciate. Soft foods for awhile, at least until my benefit year is up and can use the insurance again. If someone had told me how expensive all this stuff is, I might have been a little more careful. No, probably not, but I would like to think so.

At any rate, if I post anything on Wednesday, take it with a grain of salt as I will be under the influence!

UPDATE: Appointment had to be canceled, dentist didn’t bother to pre authorize the visit so now I am in wait mode again, this is so frustrating!

Me and the family went out tonight to a Warren Barfield concert. Tickets were given to us so the price was right. Afterwards though, I would have gladly paid. The show was great,  not a big crowd so it was very intimate. If you haven’t heard of him then do a google search, he did the theme song for Fireproof if that helps.

Anyway, I did take my camera, not the good one, and got a few shots. Here is one of my favorites.

Warren Barfield

I appear to be posting for myself now. Readership has dropped to 1. Still getting tons of hits through Google, but none of those ever comment. I would love to say that if I offended someone I am sorry, but more than likely, I’m not. I do tend to say what is on my mind.

I still have not done the paperwork for my surgeon, there are six more days till the appointment. Which thing do you think will happen first?

Tried my hand at being a secret shopper today, not sure I like it very much. You have to remember a lot of things that you normally would not notice. Considering my memory is awful, it’s a wonder I can do it. Fortunately I am good at taking notes discreetly.

Have you noticed that as you get older your conversations start to become more intimate? Such as you go from talking about how many beers you had last night to how many bowel movements you had during the day. I actually came to this realization several days ago but waited an appropriate amount of time to post about it so that those involved in the conversation could just about forget about it till they saw it here.

Pardon the dust, I have been doing some house cleaning. I have mentioned before that I am a pack rat, no? Well I do it on my server as well. I had the remnants of the last several experiments and some test sites on here. Since they were just using up space I had to clean them out. That and for some reason Google started indexing one of them, stupid Google!

I love playing around with new sites. You never know when you are going to want to branch off and start a website about, oh I don’t know, chairs for instance. Now while what I have is fine and dandy for a personal blog I don’t think it would work very well for a chair site!

I think I have fixed all the bugs in this site, think. The last time I was sure about something it took me several days to recover from the mess that ensued!

I did not, repeat did not get through the book like I had hoped so now I am scrambling for time to devote to it. I put too much on my plate and now I am paying for it in spades.

Fun things we did at the marriage retreat:

• Played a version of the newlywed game where we try and guess how our spouse answered a question.
• Ate food
• Spent quality time with our spouses
• Ate more food

All in all I think we had a good time. I don’t think I did very well at the game though as I can barely remember what happened yesterday, let alone a year ago.
