Some days are weirder than others. Some days are so weird you have to check and see if you might be getting punk’d. You know, like when you work with people who fight like cats and dogs pretty much all the time. Then you take a extra day off and when you come back they act like they are the best of friends. I was waiting for the twilight zone music to start playing.

I have been trying to get some photos taken but it seems to be a lost cause at the moment. If I am off work then it is either raining or freezing cold but man is it gorgeous out when I have to go to work and am too tired to go out. Oh and then there was the time when the batteries were dead in the camera and you didn’t have any spares on you. oh that was a laugh a minute experience!

I was going back through some old posts and noticed something. I used to have a lot more readers. I am now trying to figure out what I did to these people to chase them off. Sure I’m not always funny but I have my moments. I mean hey, if you could see me right now you would laugh your head off at the extremely funny face I am making, just trust me and laugh! I’m telling you right now if you people don’t come back I am going to start posting the most hilarious stuff ever and I won’t let you read it. :P

Right then. I need to get to bed, have a doc appointment in the AM.

Streptococcus pyogenes

Took my youngest to the doctor today. She had a sore throat and a stomach ache. I knew that it would be strep since the 10 year old has it also. What I wasn’t counting on was the doctor asking me if my throat felt alright. “Well now that you mention it, my throat is a bit scratchy!”

In goes the giant cotton swab and then I get diagnosed with it too. Needless to say I am off work tonight and feeling rather glum. An odd way to feel considering my post yesterday. I would rather be there than home sick. I hate being sick, it bugs the heck out of me.

Oh, did I mention that my youngest did better at the test than I did? She didn’t do anything but laugh when she got swabbed. I, on the other hand, gagged and choked. Much to the amusement of my Anna, who laughed even more.
