Well yeah, okay. I haven’t been completely active on here lately. I have been out taking photos, just nothing worth sharing yet.
The storms have been pathetic so no chasing yet either. So mostly I have been sitting around wallowing in self pity.
Sounds exciting doesn’t it?

Yeah, I would love to come on here and tell you that I have something great to tell you. I would love to tell you about a great photo I took. Unfortunately I can’t. I’ve been miserable and the weather has too. That said, the weather won’t be improving this week from the look of it.
Maybe I will luck out and get a good day in soon. Becky is going to Cali Friday and won’t be back till the following Friday. Of course the girls summer vacation starts Friday also, how convenient!
Hopefully the girls and I will find something to occupy our time while Becky is gone. I’m not very entertaining most of the time though, it may be rough for them.
I’m going to bed now so I can toss and turn for a few hours.

Hi all. Real busy right now working on photos and my disability appeal. I had no idea what a long drawn out process it would be. I should be back on a normal schedule late next week.

It’s the number of the beast, upside down of course, but it’s still there.

I noticed that a lot of things are happening today. The release of the movie 9, which does look interesting. The Beatles are set to be the next big thing on the Rock Band game. Apple is making some sort of big announcement today, many speculate that it will be about a new iPod.

So what does this day have in store for me? House work! Oh happy day, how lucky can I possible be? Yet, here I sit posting to my site and reading everyone’s blogs. Not real conducive to getting anything done. Today I feel like these guys, No Lift:

I spent quite awhile and several shots on this squirrel and came back with only a handful of useable shots, he is way quicker than I am!

I am going to look into getting my eyes checked also, they aren’t what they used to be. Granted he was pretty far away which can make it hard to focus for anyone, but I think I could have done better.

I would be arrested for neglect!

It has been a long week so far and it is only… Tuesday? Wow even worse than I thought!

I want to get out and take some photos, unfortunately I am so behind on other things that it isn’t possible. I have a book review that I am way behind on. I had planned on cleaning and organizing my desk, and so many other things. Of course, my illness had to get in the way.

I personally don’t feel any better but that might just be my imagination since the medication might just be a slow starter. I just want to feel better now, get on with my life, oh and take another nap!

Good grief, I have also fallen behind on the Free Yourself With Prayer site. I really need to get on that one too. I am still looking for articles to put up on that site. They can be anything to do with prayer really. I am mostly looking for testimonials on what prayer has done in your life now.

Alright, I am not getting anything done by sitting here either. Peace!

An ode to Comcast:

Yeah, I got put on hold again. I called to find out if I was having an outage in my area or if I had a problem with my modem. Another hour on hold, another 60 minutes gone. Insight had a system where when you called in it would let you know if there was an outage in your area so you didn’t have to sit there and wait for someone to take your call. Even if you did decide to wait, it wasn’t that long!

Dear Comcast, hire some more people to answer the phones or at least give me the number to my local office so I am not losing so much of my life waiting for you. Comcastic? Whatever!

That was one hour of my life that I will never get back. I called Comcast today to find out when I would be getting my first bill, I think I should bill them for the time I spent on hold. See my cable company sold out to Comcast and I am already regretting it. When I called my previous provider I got through in about ten minutes, quite a change there.

So when I finally get a human on the line she tells me that I have the wrong department and she is going to transfer me to the right one, “please hold”. No, wait I don’t want to be on hold ever again…

So I finally got through to the right person only to be informed that they haven’t gotten all the billing done yet. I will be receiving a bill in march for two months service. Oh joy, I am so happy I have Comcast, they are Comcastic, and that is not a compliment.

So I get over the bronchitis/flu, whatever it was that I had and I get a tooth infection. I hate having a tooth ache but when you throw in a swollen face to boot, I really don’t like it. So I made an emergency trip to the dentist today for some antibiotics and a few pain pills and next week I will be subject to yet another extraction.

In other news, I got some new books to review. I just finished one of them up tonight and I am currently reading the other, plus trying to write the review for the first one! Oh and I won this really cool Life Application Study Bible from ACM. I like it a lot. As a matter of fact I like it so much that it replaced the one I had been carrying to church. I really enjoy the format that is used and the study helps are awesome.

Anyway, I need to go take a pain pill and catch some sleep, I didn’t get much last night due to the pain and swollen face!

We took the girls out Sunday night to see the Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of both worlds show. It’s filmed in Disney digital 3D. It was a lot of fun for the girls and I enjoyed it myself. Of course I am such a music junkie that it was inevitable that I would. The 3D made it more lifelike and the backstage and behind the scenes shots were really cool.

I must say that Miley is really talented and I envy her energy level. She has a promising career ahead of her. I just hope she doesn’t fall into the same trap that a lot of successful musicians fall into. I think Billy Ray will see to that though.

I am soooo tired now. I have had a full day, the longest birthday day for me ever. I am outta here, see ya on the flip!
