Poster tasteries

I was going to write some mindless post last night, something off the top of my head. Then I thought, why, why expose you to my brain drippings when they are clearly not fit for human consumption? Since I decided not to poison your minds I instead decided to throw more music on my mp3 player instead.

That said, I am looking for more music recommendations. If you know of a song or group that I would probably like let me know. I basically will listen to anything but opera so the field is wide open!

A real humdinger of a day!

I feel like I have been rode hard and put away wet! If the stress doesn’t kill me then the people who have to put up with me stressing out will! The burden of being a Christian can be hard at times. You are supposed to set a good example at all times, I can’t even do that sometimes! You are supposed to love your enemies, but in my defense that was written before these people I work with came into existence, there has to be a loophole.

Seriously though, it has been a rough week and when you combine that with the less than spectacular weather we are having it makes for a pretty cruddy week. If it wasn’t for my music I am pretty sure I would probably snap. There aren’t many things that I consider things I can’t live without but I am putting my MP3 player on that short list!

I forgot I was writing this post. I went to my music library on my computer and got lost in it! See, if it wasn’t for music I would go nutso!(and the stupid spell checker is going to have to get over it, nutso is too a word!)

Bleh, I’m going to bed, see you all on the other side!

How much more random can it be?

I have nothing today so I am going to just sit here and type out whatever comes to mind! Hopefully this isn’t all there is.

I’m not sure what is going on with my stomach but I am still queasy and it is getting tiresome. Oh and did I mention the headache that has developed? Three days strong and still hasn’t gone away, and no it’s not a tumor!

Are stupid people born that way or is it a development issue? God must really love stupid people since He made so many of them.

I pulled one of the ad blocks from the blog for now as they seem to be having trouble and it was making the page load pretty slow.

I have noticed a surge in spam getting through Gmails filters. I wonder what is up with that. I really don’t want to have to sift through all that crap just to get to the few legit emails that I get per day!

Got a song in my head and it won’t go away! Bob Seger “You’ll Accomp’ny Me”. Please make it stop. Oh wait I have it on my Mp3 player, somewhere. They really need to improve the search ability of these things.

I Love Summer(not)

It is hotter than a… well I can’t really say that and keep my family friendly rating now can I? Actually I may have blown that already!

But really, it is HOT. The humidity is making it even worse. If you pile on top of that the fact that I am no longer on my depression meds and it is a recipe for lethargy. I haven’t been doing much of anything except going to work and coming home and sleeping. I hate it when it gets like this.

I do have a doctors appointment for tomorrow so I can get to work on the meds part of it. I have to leave the rest up to nature on whether it cools down or not. The weatherman did assure me that it would ONLY be in the upper eighties on Thursday, well yippee ki-yay. It is so sad when they say upper eighties like it is a good thing!

I would love to post more but I am going to go have a lie down before work, well maybe I will. I also have more music to put on the mp3 player. I am just amazed at how much that little thing can hold!

Still alive after all these days!

Yeppers, I’m still here. I have been trying to get myself motivated and so far it just isn’t happening!

I finally decided to upgrade my mp3 player. I was going to get an iPod but considering the trouble some people have had with them, I decided to go with another brand! There are so many choices out there now that it makes your head spin. When I got my first one there were maybe two brands at the store and neither one of them were all that great. Some play movies, most of them have the ability to display pictures, thankfully most of them remembered to put the music player in there too!

I decided to go with a Creative Zen Micro. No movies (I have a TV thank you), no pictures (I see no reason for it), just lots of room for music. Considering my old one was 256mb this 6gb player is a monster. I am going to have a good time filling it up. The sound is exceptional and while it looks confusing I got used to the controls fairly fast. Oh and this little bugger is LOUD. Finally I can drown out pretty much everything that comes my way now!

Hmm, have I mentioned the insomnia thing yet, I think I have but I’m not sure and I don’t feel like checking. Needless to say, I am praying for some good sleep real soon!
