I have nothing

But I felt obligated to come in and post something, so here you go.

Work is crazy! There’s a lot of it too!!

I was ill the other day, but I am over it now.

My daughter has not been so lucky, she has strep and has made sure that everyone knows just how miserable she is.

The weather in Indiana stinks on ice, literally. I am so tired of these snow storms followed by a brief coating of ice. The only fun part of it is watching the neighbors dog try to stay on top of the ice without breaking through. Makes him walk like an old lady, no offense to the old ladies out there!

I have officially crossed the total geek line. I am working on both my home computer and my laptop at the same time. Posting to my regular blog on one and my Active Christian Media blog on the other. It’s only a matter of time now till I start using a pocket protector and snorting when I laugh!

I got to go get something to eat so for now…

God bless,
Jeff A

I had promised pictures from the fair. My work found a way to destroy that opportunity, plus disappoint my kids in the process. I had told my girls we would be going to the fair Saturday to spend the day and ride all the rides. My work decided to make Saturday mandatory, well for some. I haven’t figured out how some people got out of it, but I couldn’t. The girls were disappointed. They still got to go, but I didn’t get to stay very long so Becky had to do it. It broke my heart on many levels. I really love the fair and I really love to enjoy it with my family. I couldn’t go during the week since Desi had summer school which let out just before I had to go to work. Saturday was the last day and now we have to wait another year. Next time I will take a vacation day during the week and take them!

I have spent a lot of time at work lately. I came in early Thursday and Friday and then had to work Saturday, bleh. Thursday I had to chase down the UPS man with my personal vehicle with an order that had to be shipped. Do you think anyone bothered to thank me for that extra bit of effort? You would be wrong unless you think making me break a promise to my wife and children is their way of saying thanks.

Yeah, enough griping. I only have one day off now and between church and getting all my yard work done it wont be very restful! I would wait and mow later but it is getting really high now. It took me a few hours to find my daughter out front the other day as she got lost in the grass. Hey maybe I could convince the neighbors its ornamental grass just like the purple fescue in my garden!
