Heartbreaking

I will keep this short and sweet. I could post more flood photos but there seems to be no end of those on all the news sites, like this one The Indy Channel. But what everyone seems to be missing is a scene that is playing out all over the area.

This is heartbreaking, seeing these people have to empty their homes of their belongings. Their hopes and dreams gone. I have more shots but out of respect for these families I will keep it to this one. It is all really the same, just different dreams lying by the side of the road.

I’m back!

Of course I never mentioned I was leaving. but thats besides the point. My wife and I left Friday at noon and went to Arkansas. We got back at 4:30 Saturday afternoon! Yes, thats 28 hours on the road. On the road, we saw a lot of this:

It was not a very scenic drive in my opinion. It had it’s moments, but for the most part, bleh. I took lots of notes and a few pictures which I will share over the next few days. Until then, May God bless you richly.
