Hello, is this thing on?

Well the turnout for the last scavenger hunt was pretty sad. We went from 3 contestants down to one. That won’t slow me down one bit. I have the list for the Third Scavenger Hunt posted and I am ready to roll. I added some more subjects that are way open to interpretation to male it a little more fun!

I slept in Monday so I didn’t get a whole lot accomplished, oooh big surprise there huh. I am still a little sore from Saturday as I did a lot of walking. That and I was carrying my laptop around in my backpack so I could empty my cards when needed.

I am going to go to bed now and when I get up I will have a great new perspective on life and the universe. That or I will still be tired and fall back asleep!

I love trees!

No really I do! There is nothing quite as satisfying as pushing a stick into potting soil to see how long it takes to die! Well now the countdown begins. I planted a few more trees friday and I have some more to plant today. Yes the cherry tree is in the right spot. She was just grateful that I put forth the effort.

I hope to get some photo taking in but I am sure something will stand in the way of that. I have another shot to add to my scavenger hunt gallery and then I am way behind again.

Tick tock tick tock

I’m almost done. The problem, you see, is I keep jumping from project to project. I work on the computer room for a day then I get something on the honey-do list. Yesterday was hang the swag lamp in the kitchen. I put it off for a month, sadly it only took an hour to wire it up and hang it. Today I should be back on the computer room so I can finish it up, oh and give the dog a bath. You know I don’t even like giving my kids baths and now I have this stupid dog to contend with!

Scavenger hunt number 2 is up and running!

I have the second Scavenger hunt list up and ready for you. I hope we get more people trying it out this time. The last one had only three people try, two if you don’t count me.

The only thing that happened during the weekend other than the storm was I got a new dog. A Jack Russel Terrier, or as I have come to affectionately call it, a chew on everything then pee on it terrier. I feel sorry for it cause you have to put it in a cage at night or it will chew up everything it can get it’s mouth around, including electrical cords. It is cute and very affectionate, plus it is the first animal I have had in awhile that actually seems to like me.

I could probably drone on about nothing for a few more paragraphs but I think I will just stop here and let you get out there and start taking pictures!

All in a days work!

Or not.

Well the first Scavenger hunt is over and we had three entries. Of the three who entered only one got all the items on the list and that was One Wink At a Time. Her entries covered the entire list. I was pretty disappointed with myself as I am the one who made the list and I couldn’t even get them all.

The next hunt will start in a few days and this time I will get them all. It doesn’t matter if I can’t win, just that I get them all and set a good example! On that note I have a sick child home from school so I better get back to tending her every whim and desire.
