Older, wiser, and definitely blinder!

So as some of you may notice, I have upped the font size on the blog a bit. I left the links in the sidebar alone but the content was just too small for me. Right now I judge my fonts on whether I can read them without my glasses on. If I can’t then I up the size a bit.

Admittedly that may cause problems in the future as my sight continues to go downhill. I can foresee a day when the font size will be so large that scrolling down just to read one word may happen.

They have had me in the inspection room at work for the last few days. I have to do it again tomorrow then I get booted back to the floor. Honestly, I would rather stay in inspection. It is more suitable for me and when I go home at night I don’t have to curl into the fetal position and mumble to myself.

Oh one more thing about the font size, it makes my posts look bigger too! :)

Darn it all

I really liked that theme for my blog but it had one major flaw. It was conflicting with my plug in that I use for the photos. It just wouldn’t work, they did not play nicely. So here we are back to this look and me trying to remember where everything was on the sidebar before!

MyBlogLog

I found the coolest thing while surfing blogs last night. I was reading Genuines blog when I saw something called MyBlogLog in his sidebar. It had pictures(or avatars) of other MyBlogLog members who had recently visited. What a cool idea, an easy way to get an idea of who is coming to your site. Of course it only helps if your visitors are members but it’s a start!

So, yeah if you look to the far right under the random shot you will see that I joined and put their widget up on my site. It seems like it could be a really good community builder plus it has already turned me on some cool blogs that I hadn’t seen before.

If your not a member you might look into it as it is pretty darn cool. If you are a member then why aren’t you showing up in the list? ;)

Zip, zilch, zero

I have nothing for you today. I have dug deep into the bowels of my mind, and once I took a shower from that I realized that I had come back with nothing. I did put up a couple of shots on my Flickr account(link is on the far right sidebar). I did mess around and blow all my free time doing absolutely nothing. I had a list, a simple list really and there it sits with no check marks to be seen.

Oh well go to the elsewhere link up top and read some of the blogs in that list, they should keep you busy for awhile!
