I’m still trying

Ok I have done more work to the photography site. If you have a few seconds would you please go over to http://www.jeffallenphoto.com take a look then come back here and let me know what you think.

Is the look alright, does it all work for you. I know that there are a few vertical shots in there and right now it crops them too much, we are working on that. Any feedback you have would be greatly appreciated.

Coming soon

The site will be moved to a faster, more robust server. Hopefully this will take care of some of the access issues that have been going on. While I have a love/hate relationship with my hosting company, it will still be with them as they still have some of the better tech support out there. They assured me that I will be much happier with this hosting package.

So somewhere toward the end of the week we should see some improvement. It will take a bit for the domain to propagate to the new server so there may be some issues at the beginning, but in the long run it should be worth it.

This is a test

This is a post that may make absolutely no sense in a few days. I am trying out this theme for my site. I want to see how I like it, and how everyone else likes it also. It loads pretty quick for me, but that just might be a fluke.

Anyway, check it out, kick the tires and let me know what you think. This one, or should I just go back to the one before?

Sleep is over rated!

No substance to this post, no photo at least. I am working on some stuff for the site that is taking up quite a bit of my “free” time. Plus I have a doctors appointment today (Friday), so I am up to my neck!

Linda, you are going to kill me. You were accessing the right site, I was not. My computers hosts file was sending me to the old server and I was just posting away thinking everyone in the world should be able to see it.

So all that stuff I had you do, not necessary.

But at least now you can read those last two posts. I had the foresight to send them to myself so I was able to copy them into the new server.

Now I will go hide my face in the corner in shame!

And another thing!

Thought I would share with you my favorite Christmas decorations in my house. I have grown used to them and never would have thought of posting this if not for a post on m+’s site. I am still missing a few of them and we have some other stuff tossed in there to fill out the table(my wife has this thing about open space so she fills the thing up).

Anyway, enjoy the somewhat not close enough photo!

Trying it out

I am just trying out this theme to see how well it works with my site. If you come across any problems please let me know in the comments. Unless it is the comments that aren’t working for you then I guess you need to email me which you can do on the contact page!

I feel like poo today. I was going to work on the site and change over the template but I don’t think I have the energy even for that! Heaven help me I have to go to work tonight and I don’t know if I will be able to last. I can’t even think of anything funny to say to make this more lighthearted. Blegh
