Mondays always seem to vex me. Even though I haven’t been in the workforce for over two years, they still bite me sometimes. Almost makes me want to stay in bed all day but…

My new bed is harder than it felt at the store. We bought the floor model for a substantial savings but for some reason it just doesn’t feel the same as the day we plopped on it at the furniture store. I would love to return it but…

It is the floor model so there is no money back guarantee. The warranty is still valid but the no return policy is in effect. Now I have to sleep on it for the next few years till we can save enough to get yet another bed.

One thing that doesn’t suck is the fact that I am one payment away from officially owning my truck. What does suck is that the last time I payed off a vehicle it died two days later!

I am enjoying my amateur radio. I have been listening in and learning mostly. What sucks about this you ask? I know no one on the air. These people all know each other and have way more technical skills then I do. Even when I do talk to them, I have no clue what they are talking about sometimes. I would love to get a home based radio that puts out some nice wattage and a big antenna but they are expensive and then there’s that pesky HOA covenant.

Done complaining yet? No I am not, but I will give you a rest here.

This is the illness that won’t go away. Just when Anna got better Becky decided to step up to the plate and get it worse.

So lets check the scoreboard:

1. Anna, still coughing but otherwise ok.
2. Becky, down for the count.
3. Desi, root canal girl, whining more than usual.
4. Me, well I’m just me!

I have been playing nurse so long now I almost feel like I should be wearing some nice squeaky shoes and waking people up to take sleeping pills!

The time is counting down till the fair. Would you like to know how much I have accomplished? Nothing, nada, not a darn thing. I would love to say it was because I was so busy with other projects but it’s not.

I am the king of procrastination. If it were a Olympic event I would take the gold every time. It is a sad but true fact about me. I will end up trying to get it all done in one or two days, even though I have had an entire year to work on it.

Yes I did it in school too. Most of my papers and book reports were done the day before they were due, and honestly, it was noticeable. I did not excel in either of those aspects of my schooling.

Now instead of wasting more time on here I need to go to bed and get some sleep so I can get out tomorrow and do something about this fair entry.

Well between all the stormy goodness and a vicious case of stomach flu it has been up and down over the last several days. The storms I have talked about already, lets talk about the “STOMACH FLU”. This was no ordinary bug, I’ve handled that before, this bug kicked my butt. 2 days I was down, I actually had to ask for help with some things, thats a lot too considering how stubborn I am about not asking for help. I think it even caught Becky off guard. She rallied and delt with the girls and my whiny butt. Anna even got in on the action coming up to check on me every few hours. Bringing me drinks and making me smile, she would be a great nurse.

That said, I haven’t done much in the way of photos other than the lightning photos the other day. I hope to remedy that very soon. The fair is coming up and I still haven’t decided on what I want to shoot and enter for that. I may just do some more portraits as those seem to go over the best.

OK, going to sleep now, yeah right.

Hello little blog, I’ve been missing you. I know I have been neglecting you but life has been so crazy lately. Honestly it feels like I haven’t had two minutes of free time. I know that’s not really true, the problem is the depression. It makes me tired and makes me lose interest in things I normally love.

I sleep excessively and when I’m not sleeping, I am staring blankly at the tv or a book and learning nothing. People have been trying to help, they have done things such as schedule events for me and even tried new medications. So far, they have failed.

I just wanted to let you know that I miss you and someday soon I will be back to my regular chatty self, I hope. At any rate maybe I will post more regularly.

Today in just a few hours I will finally be getting my dental work done. I would love to say I am looking forward to it, but that would be a lie. I am hoping it will give some relief to me.

While I would prefer to sleep through this, my dentist has decided to go the sedation route which will leave me conscious but out of it. I have had the sedation method before but this work is much larger scale than it was then.

Oh well, see you later alligator.

Nary a thing worth mentioning!

My disability hearing was continued. My doctors appointment turned out to be not a doctor but a social worker. I am now taking issue with them for having a sign that said accepting new patients. I informed them that it should read accepting new clients since they are sticking the new ones with social workers. Needless to say, I was a bit po’ed.

The new date to get my dental work done is the 16th. Baring flood or famine this one should happen. It may leave me without teeth for a bit, but in the long run I am sure it will be worth it.

Stupidity gone wild? My neighbor took down their Halloween decorations and put up their Christmas ones on the same day. I just think it’s a little premature. I love Christmas as much as the next guy, but it’s not even close yet. Sheesh

Anything else, nope, my noggin is now empty and devoid of thought. Now I can get some sleep.

I gave in and went to the doctor today. The bronchitis was getting to me, that and the whole “if I’m sick when my surgery rolls around they will cancel” thing. I was right, it is indeed bronchitis, a pretty nasty case according to the nurse. Anyway, they gave me some antibiotics and some cough syrup with codeine in it. I don’t think I should have taken the cough syrup and then tried to post.

I have some things I want to blog about but I am holding back because some of it might just turn some people away. It’s not bad bad stuff, just my thoughts on things happening in this country right now. I seriously wish that ALL the politicians, media, and pundits would pull their collective heads out of their butts and realize that they are not doing the U.S. any favors right now. To be honest, I think the thing that is truly screwing this country up is what is supposed to be protecting it.

That is all I will say for now, lets see how many hate emails I get because of that and I will go from there. I am now going to go enjoy a codeine induced sleep!

Back on third shift, posting may be sporadic for awhile.

No substance to this post, no photo at least. I am working on some stuff for the site that is taking up quite a bit of my “free” time. Plus I have a doctors appointment today (Friday), so I am up to my neck!
